Steamy Attic Records is a new "Do-It-Yourself" Record Label that Matt created with the initial purpose of releasing and distributing his own music and other projects he is or has been involved with. Eventually, he would like to include other local artists on the label, and promote and evolve a DIYmusic revolution in Hampton Roads. The name of the label is derived from the remodeled attic of the home where Matt and his wife Maria reside in Hampton, VA. Serving as a home recording studio, a practice and rehearsal space, and a general production workspace for the label, the Steamy Attic lives up to its name, especially in the summertime.

To date, Steamy Attic records has released two new projects (Uglyography's Quirk Punk album, Love Boat and The Fruitcakes' Christmas album, Eaten By Elves), and re-released three old projects by his former band, The Outer Loop (Who's on the Ceiling, Self-Titled EP, and Later). The label offers sales of these releases and other merchandise both online and through a mailorder catalog.
