The
Fruitcakes are a group of friends who decided that the world
could use a few new Christmas standards to add
into the rotation, some songs with a bit more of an up-to-date
attitude on the subject. Besides the typical Christmas joy present
in most Christmas songs, their first EP covers other subjects
of the season such as lousy shopping attitudes, lawn light obsessions,
Japanese customs, and being lonely during the holidays. The Fruitcakes
belong in your Christmas music collection!
All proceeds for CD sales and performances are donated to charity. For the 2006 season, all proceeds will be directed to the Peninsula Food Bank.
